is MouseTrial suitable for you?

ranges of age and ability

MouseTrial is used by children covering a very wide range of ages and abilities, from toddlers to teenagers. You can adjust the level of difficulty to make sure that the player is successful most of the time while still making progress and encountering new challenges. There's lots of information about how MouseTrial can be tuned to suit your needs on the How to use it page. It's very quick to do, and easy to understand.

try it and see!

It's important to actually have a go with any software you're thinking of introducing, because children with autism display a great deal of variation in what things they find easy or hard to do and what does or doesn't motivate them. This is one reason why we provide LOTS OF FREE GOES so that you can give it a really thorough test in your situation. MouseTrial relies on the fact that the player will be motivated by the animations when correct items are clicked. Happily, this works well for many children, but the only way to know for sure is to get stuck in and try it!
